The league opened with the superior performance of the Banbury AllStars, who dominated the court with a triumphant 28-5 victory over the Pocket Rockets. The AllStars' seamless passing and impeccable strategy gave them the upper hand, securing their top spot in the league standings.

However, the Pocket Rockets had their moment of glory with their ace player, Katie Brain, being named the most valued player of the week. Despite the team's loss, Brain's outstanding performance, marked by her exceptional agility and precision, became the highlight of the night.

In the next match, the Banbury Ballers claimed an emphatic 18-9 win against the Odd Balls. The Ballers showcased a masterclass of swift attacks and robust defence, securing them a comfortable victory and further solidifying their position in the league table.

A captivating clash between the Banbury Shooters and Goals Aloud ended in a nail-biting 11-11 draw. Both teams showcased equal strength and precision, leaving spectators and players alike in anticipation for their next face-off.

The final match of the night saw the Dynamite Shooters pitted against the Goal Shooters. In a close-knit battle, the Goal Shooters emerged victorious with a 14-11 win. Their relentless pursuit of the ball and strategic play won them the game and left the fans longing for more.
