We were treated to a thrilling night of netball action in Week 4 of the Banbury Thursday 7-a-side Premier League. The skill, determination, and sheer sportsmanship on display were a testament to the high caliber of teams involved in this prestigious league.
In a highly-anticipated match-up, Goal Shooters defeated High Hitters by a commendable 14-8. Speshal DaSilva of the Goal Shooters was the star of the show, turning in a performance that won her the Most Valued Player of the week. DaSilva’s exceptional agility and sharp shooting skills kept the High Hitters on their toes throughout the match.
In another nerve-wracking encounter, Banbury AllStars were narrowly edged out by Banbury Ballers with a scoreline of 11-10, proving that every shot counts in this league.
Meanwhile, the Dynamite Chicks put up a valiant fight against Banbury Hotshots, with the final score settling at an electrifying 25-19 in favor of the Hotshots. Both teams demonstrated an impressive display of skill, teamwork, and resilience.
Not to be outdone, We Got Game triumphed over Frazzles, ending the match with a respectable 21-14 scoreline. This victory solidifies We Got Game's position in the league as a formidable contender.
