Uttoxeter Sunday Netball Update - Week 14

Another Brilliant Evening at the Uttoxeter Sunday Social Netball League

Week 14 of the Uttoxeter Sunday Social Netball League brought another fun-filled evening of netball, with plenty of teamwork, encouragement and great moments across the courts.

The night began with Hoopy Hour taking on High Hoops in a closely played match. Both teams worked hard throughout, but Hoopy Hour finished slightly ahead with an 8–6 win. A special mention goes to Maggie Morrall, whose fantastic performance and positive energy made a real difference on the court.

Pass Me The Wine found their rhythm against The Raiders, putting together some lovely passages of play to come away with a 16–6 win. Their communication and movement around the court really stood out.

Court Queens also had a strong evening, combining solid defence with confident shooting to secure a 20–8 result against Hoopsie Daisy in a game played in great spirit.

Net Club Seven enjoyed a positive performance against Nets In The City, working well together across the court and finishing 20–3. It was great to see both teams encouraging each other right to the final whistle.

Rounding off the evening, Give Us A Shot and Hoops I Did It Again shared an entertaining contest, with Give Us A Shot finishing ahead 7–3 in a match full of smiles and supportive team play.

As the season continues, it’s fantastic to see players improving each week, building friendships and enjoying the social side of the league just as much as the netball itself. The atmosphere each Sunday remains welcoming, supportive and full of community spirit.
