Week 10 Highlights – Uttoxeter Sunday Social Netball League

Week 10 of the Uttoxeter Sunday Social Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of netball, with plenty of great teamwork, positive play, and supportive spirit on show across the courts.

Court Queens took on The Raiders in a lively match, with Court Queens coming away with a 10–3 win. Strong defending and well-worked passages of play helped them build their score, making it a fun and energetic game for both sides.

Nets In The City faced Hoops I Did It Again in a closely fought and entertaining contest. Both teams played with real determination and teamwork, and Nets In The City just edged ahead to take a 7–5 win in a match that could have gone either way.

High Hoops met Pass Me The Wine in the final game of the night, which was played in great spirit and at a good pace. Pass Me The Wine finished the match with a 16–10 win after some lovely movement and accurate shooting, rounding off a strong team performance.

A special shout-out this week goes to Beth Lomas of Net Club Seven, who was named MVP of the week. Her effort, consistency, and positive presence on court really stood out and made her a deserving winner.

As we head into the next week of the Uttoxeter Sunday Social Netball League, it’s great to see so many teams enjoying their netball, supporting one another, and keeping the focus on fun, fitness, and friendship. Thanks to everyone for another great week on court
