In an exhilarating week 17 of the Uttoxeter Sunday Netball league, the Division witnessed a series of thrilling encounters that had us on the edge of our seats.
In a standout performance, Court Queens dominated the court against Gunners with a resounding 20-5 win. Their formidable display was, in large part, due to the efforts of the week's Most Valued Player, Alice Boothby.
The excitement didn't stop there. Spice Goals and Net Club Seven clashed in a high-voltage match that saw Spice Goals triumph with a 19-10 victory. The match was a testament to the team's grit, as they held their nerve and maintained the lead against a resilient Net Club Seven.
The Raiders and High Hoops engaged in a neck-to-neck battle, with The Raiders narrowly clinching the win at 10-8. Both teams showcased their defensive prowess, creating a tense and captivating atmosphere throughout the match.
Further adding to the week's excitement, Hoops I Did It Again managed to edge past Pass Me The Wine in a nail-biting 17-14 win. Each goal was hard-fought and the match was a testament to the sheer competitiveness and talent housed in the League.
