Uttoxeter Sunday Netball League 16th February

In a thrilling week 16 of the Uttoxeter Sunday Netball League, the division saw a swing of high-intensity matches that kept everyone on the edge of their seats. As the season edges closer to its conclusion, with only two weeks left, competition amongst the teams is fiercer than ever.

The High Hoops overcame the Gunners in a nail-biting 13-10 victory, demonstrating their superior defensive skills. In a game that kept onlookers guessing until the very last whistle, The Raiders managed to edge out Pass Me The Wine by a solitary point, ending the match with a hard-fought 15-14 scoreline.

The Court Queens showed their dominance with an imposing 18-4 win over Spice Goals, shaking the division and solidifying their standing. However, the most nail-biting and electrifying match of the night undoubtedly was between the Goal Diggers and Hoops I Did It Again. The clash saw Goal Diggers triumphing with a slim margin of 14-13, making their intent clear for the remaining season.

Even amidst fierce competition, the star player who stole the limelight was Jodie Beardsley from Spice Goals. Beardsley's exceptional performance and strategic play earned her the 'Most Valued Player' of the week, a testament to her consistent high-level play throughout the season.
