Uttoxeter netball league
Week 5 saw a great evening of netball in the Uttoxeter Sunday league. The top scorers for the division were on fire, contributing to the high-intensity matches.
In a classic display of agility and strategy, Court Queens played incredibly well against Hoops I Did It Again, clinching a 13-3 victory thanks to their adept passing and on-target shooting.
The fixture between Net Club Seven and Goal Diggers was a nail-biting showdown, with Goal Diggers narrowly gaining the win 13-12. Both teams showed tenacity till the end.
Next on, Pass Me The Wine played a great game against Gunners resulting in a 12-4 win.
In the last game of the evening, The Raiders took on Spice Goals and emerged victorious with an 8-2 victory. The Raiders’ precision and swift manoeuvres were a highlight of the game.
The star of the week was Tessi Price from High Hoops, who was honoured as the most valued player. Price's exceptional performance on the court, coupled with her teamwork and leadership skills, made her the undeniable choice for this accolade.
