In the world of Daventry Tuesday Netball, week 8 of the season was an electrifying set of matches demonstrating skill, determination, and teamwork.
The Premier League division saw a host of thrilling games. Blue Peacocks and Violet Vipers squared off in a heated contest, with the Violet Vipers emerging victorious at 15-9. Despite the loss, the Blue Peacocks showed commendable play, with Jaye being named the week’s most valued player.
Meanwhile, the Blue Kingfishers faced a tough matchup against the White Swans, who showed their dominance in an impressive win. Kingfishers kept going and kept smiling taking their defeat with their usual grace. Well played to their MVP Abbi.
In another match, Green Dragons and Pink Panthers battled it out, with the Dragons clinching a victory with a 10-6 scoreline. Their strong defence was key in maintaining their lead, despite the Panthers' best efforts. Well done to MVP Meg. The Orange Tigerlilies took on Otter’s Pocket in a challenging game with the latter triumphing at 12-5. But well done to the newer players in the Panthers and their MVP Jourdan.
Although the scores varied, each team brought their A-game to the court, contributing to a sensational week of netball.
