DAVENTRY – The Daventry Tuesday Netball League stormed into its sixth week last night with spectacular performances showcased in the Premier League. As the season heats up, the athletes left spectators in awe with their grit, determination, and skill.
The evening was dominated by some fierce competition with each team giving their all to climb to the top of the leaderboard. In the Premier League, the Blue Kingfishers faced off against the Blue Peacocks, with the Peacocks triumphantly securing a 14 - 3 victory.
Another close match saw the Green Dragons edge past the White Swans with a narrow one-point victory, ending the game at 5 - 4. This game proved that every point matters, every pass counts, and that competition is fierce in the Premier League.
The Violet Vipers and Orange Tigerlilies offered spectators an adrenaline-fueled match, with the Tigerlilies clinching a two-point lead to win 16-14. Meanwhile, the Pink Ladies outplayed Otter's Pocket with a 10 - 7 win, adding another impressive victory to their tally this season.
The highest scoring team of the week in the Premier League was the Orange Tigerlilies with 16 points, closely followed by Blue Peacocks with 14 points.
