In an exhilarating week two
of the Daventry Tuesday netball league, Premier League division witnessed some
surprising and exciting results amongst the teams. Packed with exceptional
talent and intense sportsmanship, this week's matches were a spectacle for all
the fans.
Pink Flamingos faced a tough fight against the Orange Tigerlilies, who
dominated the court with a stunning 28-3 victory, with their new shooter,
barely missing a shot. Blue Kingfishers, with Most Valued Player of the game
Jess helping the team to a well-earned 9 goals, fell short against the Violet
Vipers, who took the win with a 22-9 scoreline, with speedy delivery to the
circle for on point shooting. Through practice and growing confidence, Kingfisher’s
were rightly pleased with their development this week, having been so close to
their opponents at half time
In another high-stakes match, Otter's Pocket took on Green Dragons in a gruelling
contest. Otter's Pocket showcased their exceptional strength and tactics to
secure a 17-6 victory over Green Dragons, demonstrating their powerful presence
in the league.
This week's matches proved once again that the Daventry Tuesday Netball League
is a powerhouse of talent and skill, with the league teams giving their all on
the court. The competition remains tight as teams battle each other for the top
spot.
