Week 7 of the Congleton Thursday netball league brought another enjoyable evening of matches, with all teams showing great effort, teamwork, and enthusiasm on court.

Net Set Go delivered a strong performance to secure a 15–5 win over Bib Sisters. Their organisation and teamwork helped them take control of the game, while Bib Sisters continued to show determination and kept battling throughout.

Thursday Thunder faced Nets Top Models in a competitive fixture, with Nets Top Models coming out on top 13–5. Despite the result, Thursday Thunder had a standout performer in Jo O’Sullivan, who was named Player of the Week. Her effort, skill, and determination made a real impact and were great to see.

Goal Diggers also put in a positive performance, earning an 8–2 win over West Heath Wonders. Both teams showed good passages of play, with Goal Diggers managing to make the most of their chances.

Overall, Week 7 reflected the positive spirit of the league, with teams continuing to develop, support one another, and enjoy their netball. There’s plenty more to look forward to as the season progresses.
