Congleton Thursday Night Netball - Week 5

The energy was electrifying on Thursday night on the netball court as week 5 of Congleton league unfolded. 

The tightly fought contest between Goal Diggers and Bib Sisters was a captivating display, with Goal Diggers clinching victory 7-4. Meanwhile, Thursday Thunder faced off against West Heath Wonders, in a thrilling spectacle of netball finesse. In spite of their tenacious play, Thursday Thunder fell short, succumbing to West Heath Wonders with a score of 5-8. Bongo and Nets Top Models served up a nail-biting encounter, with Nets Top Models navigating a narrow win with a final score standing at 4-2. 

The star of the week, however, was undeniably Melanie Burrows from Thursday Thunder. Her exceptional performance throughout the match earned her the well-deserved title of Most Valued Player of the week. 

As week 5 comes to a close, it's safe to say that anticipation is building for the next round of matches, as each team continues to strive for the top spot.
