Congratulations to Beartown ballers who were  this seasons winners in the Congleton league and the runners up Thursday Thunder, also a huge well done to Cerys Goodman from West Heath wonders who was this seasons most valued player.

The Congleton Thursday netball league season came to an exciting close last night, marking the tenth and final week of fixtures. It was a great way to round off the season, with teams across the league putting in strong performances.

One of the evening’s matches saw West Heath Wonders take on Nets Top Models. West Heath Wonders showed plenty of effort throughout, with Cerys Goodman delivering an excellent individual performance. Nets Top Models came away with a 15-8 win, but Goodman’s energy and contribution earned her the Most Valued Player award for the week.

Beartown Ballers also had a positive evening, securing a 14-5 win against Goal Diggers. Their consistent performances across the season helped them finish top of the league with 16 points and 8 wins, a result they can be very pleased with.

In another game, Thursday Thunder put in a confident performance to beat Bib Sisters 15-3, continuing their strong run and finishing the season on a high.

Overall, the league has been a great showcase of teamwork, effort and sportsmanship over the ten weeks. Every team has contributed to a competitive and enjoyable season, with plenty of memorable moments along the way.

As this season comes to an end, attention will soon turn to the next, where teams will be ready to get back on court and build on what they’ve achieved.
