Coleshill Sunday Social Netball - week 2

Birmingham Sunday You Play Netball League

Week 2 of the Birmingham Sunday You Play Netball League took place at Coleshill Leisure Centre, with teams returning for another evening of social netball. There was a friendly atmosphere throughout the evening as players took to the court ready to enjoy their games and continue building their skills.

The first game saw Netbusters take on Phoenix. Phoenix secured a convincing 21-1 victory after a strong performance across the court. Netbusters continued to compete throughout the game and worked hard until the final whistle, with both teams showing a positive attitude and good sportsmanship.

Goal Diggers then faced The A Team in the second game of the evening. Goal Diggers finished with a 10-2 win after putting together a solid performance. The A Team continued to work hard throughout the match, with both teams enjoying another competitive evening of social netball.

The final game of the night was a much closer contest between Wingin It and Hot Shots. Wingin It came away with a narrow 14-13 victory after an evenly matched game. Both teams kept working hard throughout, with the close scoreline making for an exciting finish to the evening.

Our Most Valued Player of the week was Kayley Jones from Falcons. Kayley put in a strong performance, showing good movement around the court, plenty of energy and a positive attitude throughout the evening. Congratulations to Kayley on being named this week's Most Valued Player.

The Birmingham Sunday league continues to provide a friendly and relaxed way to enjoy netball, keep active and meet new people. The focus is on having fun, developing skills and enjoying regular games in a supportive social environment.

We now look ahead to Week 3 and another evening of social netball at Coleshill Leisure Centre. Well done to all the teams who took part this week, and we look forward to seeing everyone back on court next Sunday.
