Coleshill Sunday Social Netball - week 1

Coleshill Sunday You Play Netball League – Week 1

Week 1 of the Coleshill Sunday You Play social netball league took place at Coleshill Leisure Centre, with three matches played across the evening. The new season got underway with teams returning to the court for their first fixtures, providing an opportunity to play competitive social netball and get the new season started.

The first match saw The A Team take on Netbusters. The game was closely contested, with both teams working hard in attack and defence. Netbusters were able to maintain a narrow advantage throughout the match and finished with a 7-5 win. The A Team continued to compete until the final whistle, keeping the score close throughout the game.

The second match was between Wingin It and Falcons. Wingin It made a strong start and took control of the scoring as the game progressed. Falcons continued to work hard across the court and looked for opportunities to add to their score, but Wingin It finished the match with a 10-0 victory.

The final game of the evening saw Hot Shots face Goal Diggers. Hot Shots put together a strong performance and built a lead during the match. Goal Diggers continued to compete and worked hard in both attack and defence, but Hot Shots maintained their advantage to finish with an 18-7 win.

This week's Most Valued Player was Kayley Jones from Falcons. Kayley was recognised for her movement around the court, enthusiasm and contribution throughout the match.

With Week 1 now complete, the teams can look forward to the next round of fixtures at Coleshill Leisure Centre. The Coleshill Sunday league provides players with the opportunity to stay active, play regular netball and develop their skills while meeting and playing with other local players.

Whether players are returning to netball after a break or already have experience on court, the league provides a welcoming environment to get involved and play regular social netball.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back for Week 2 of the Coleshill Sunday You Play social netball league.
