Another exciting evening of action took place in the Coleshill Sunday Netball League as teams returned to the court for Week 11 fixtures. With the season entering its final stages, every match carried added importance, and players across the League delivered plenty of competitive and entertaining netball throughout the night.

The League continues to showcase a strong mix of teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship each week, and this round of fixtures was no exception. Supporters and teammates were treated to several closely contested matches alongside some excellent attacking and defensive performances.

One of the standout results of the evening came from Goal Diggers, who produced a confident display against Falcons to secure a well-earned 15-7 victory. Goal Diggers looked organised and composed throughout the match, moving the ball effectively through the court and creating scoring opportunities with consistent attacking play. Their defensive pressure also proved important, helping them maintain control for large periods of the game.

Falcons continued to battle throughout the match and showed great determination despite the result. Their effort and commitment never dropped, and they continued to work hard until the final whistle against a strong Goal Diggers side.

Elsewhere, Wingin It delivered one of their strongest performances of the season with an impressive 18-3 win over Netbusters. From the opening centre pass, Wingin It played with confidence and energy, combining sharp movement with accurate shooting and disciplined defending. Their teamwork across all areas of the court allowed them to build momentum early and maintain it throughout the game.

Netbusters faced a difficult challenge against an in-form side but continued to show resilience and positivity during the match. The team kept working hard and supported one another throughout, which reflects the excellent spirit that has been seen across the League this season.

Another closely watched fixture saw Phoenix take on The A Team in a competitive and evenly matched encounter. Both teams created chances throughout the game and neither side was able to gain a decisive advantage, with the match eventually finishing in an 8-8 draw. It was an entertaining contest that highlighted the balance and competitiveness within the League this season.

Both Phoenix and The A Team showed strong teamwork and determination during the match, with players across the court making important contributions in both attack and defence. The draw was a fair reflection of two evenly matched sides who continued to push each other right through to the final moments.

A special mention this week goes to Lisa Williams from The A Team, who was named Most Valued Player following an excellent all-round performance. Lisa made a significant impact with her movement, decision-making, and defensive work rate, helping her side secure an important result. Her effort and positive attitude stood out throughout the evening and made her a deserving recipient of the award.

As Week 11 comes to a close, the Coleshill Sunday Netball League continues to provide a fantastic environment for players of all abilities to enjoy competitive and social netball. Each week has brought exciting matches, improving performances, and a great atmosphere on and off the court.

With only a limited number of fixtures remaining this season, teams will now be looking to finish strongly and continue building momentum heading into the final weeks. Every point remains important, and the race at the top of the League is still full of anticipation.
