In a great start to the week, the Coleshill Sunday Netball league began their season with some enjoyable and competitive matches, bringing plenty of positive energy to the league.

In the league, Wingin It delivered a strong performance against the Falcons, earning a 16–2 win. Wingin It worked well together and moved the ball confidently throughout the game. The Falcons, despite the result, showed determination and teamwork that will no doubt help them as the season continues.

In another league match-up, Thou Shalt Not Pass faced Goal Diggers in a closely contested game, with Goal Diggers securing an 8–4 victory. Both teams demonstrated commitment and effort, with Goal Diggers finding a good balance between defence and attack.

One of the standout games of the night saw Phoenix take on Pivot and Pass, finishing with a 12–4 result in Phoenix’s favour. Frankie Greenidge delivered an excellent performance for Phoenix and was named the most valued player of the week. His composure and skill on the ball made a real difference and contributed greatly to his team’s success.

As the season moves forward, the league looks set for many more enjoyable and competitive matches. The opening week has shown the positive spirit and sportsmanship across all teams, and there is plenty to look forward to in the weeks ahead.
