Witney Sunday Night Netball - Week 5

Players were thrilled at the exciting action in the Witney Sunday Night Netball league this week. The fifth week of the season was a gripping showcase of talent.

Witty Hoops secured a captivating 16-9 victory over Witney Warriors in a game full of impressive interceptions and accurate shooting. However, the evening wasn't without upset. The Cherry Bombs stunned teams with a 5-0 win over Cowgirls. The tension was palpable as Witney Wonders triumphed 17-8 over Smooth Operators. 

The most acclaimed player of the week was Smooth Operators' Clare Huggard. Despite her team's loss, Claire's exceptional performance in terms of both skill and sportsmanship earned her the title of the week's most valued player.

As we look forward to the next week's games, one thing is certain - the Witney Sunday league continues to deliver thrilling Netball action.
