Witney Sunday Netball League 4th May
In an electrifying week of the Witney Sunday Netball league, teams and fans alike were treated to a spectacular display of skill, sportsmanship, and thrilling competition.
The League saw some hotly contested matches. The Cherry Bombs and Wit And Win held everyone on the edge of their seats with their nail-biting match that ended in an 8-8 draw. Both teams showed fierce competition and it was evident that neither side was willing to concede defeat.
Following this, the Witney Wonders and Untouchables lit up the court in a game that saw Witney Wonders emerge victorious with a 10-6 win. The Wonders displayed fantastic teamwork and resilience, causing a few upsets in the process.
In another thrilling match, the Witty Hoops were narrowly defeated by the Smooth Operators with a 10-8 scoreline. The Smooth Operators showcased an impressive blend of tactical acumen and physical prowess, standing out as the top scorers for this week in the League.
Meanwhile, the Cowgirls clocked up a 4-0 win over the Witney Warriors. Despite the Warriors' relentless pursuit, the Cowgirls proved too strong on the night, underlining their reputation as a formidable force within the league.
