In the gripping second week of the Witney Sunday Netball league, the League delivered some astounding results that kept us on the edge of our seats.

In a real nail-biter, the Cherry Bombs narrowly outplayed the Witney Wonders, winning 6-4 in a tense match. Both teams displayed exceptional skill and determination but the Bombs managed to gain an upper hand, proving themselves as a formidable force in the division.

In another exciting match, Wit And Win triumphed over Witty Hoops with a stunning 8-4 victory. Despite the vigorous efforts from the Hoops, Wit And Win showcased their powerful play and managed to score some impressive goals, further establishing their position in the league.

Meanwhile, the Cowgirls galloped to a 19-2 victory over the Untouchables. 

Lastly, Smooth Operators faced a tough defeat against the Witney Warriors, who outscored them 14-2. The Warriors demonstrated an extraordinary performance, with a combination of brilliant defense and relentless attacking, solidifying their position in the league.

The league has shown the exceptional talent these teams possess. With such thrilling results in just the second week, anticipation is building for what the remainder of the season will bring. The top scorers for the League this week were the Cowgirls, with their impressive 19-point haul.
