There was a energetic atmosphere in Wrexham as Week 3 of the Monday Netball League took place, with teams coming together for another evening of enjoyable, well-played matches.
The night began with a closely fought game between Defensive Divas and Wrex Factor, which ended in a 10β10 draw. Both teams showed great teamwork and communication, matching each other throughout the game and sharing the points after a balanced and competitive performance.
In the next match, Rulebreakers delivered a confident and organised display to secure a 17β1 win over The Call-Out Queens. Their passing and movement across the court helped them build momentum, while The Call-Out Queens continued to show determination and support for one another from start to finish.
The final game of the evening saw Red Dragons take on Catch 22. It was an engaging match, with both teams working hard and creating opportunities, but Red Dragons came away with a 14β9 win. Catch 22 remained committed throughout, keeping the game flowing and competitive.
A special mention goes to Lisa Burkhill from The Call-Out Queens, who was named Player of the Week. Her effort, consistency, and positive impact on the court stood out, making an important contribution to her team.
As the season continues, itβs encouraging to see teams developing, supporting one another, and enjoying their netball each week. The league remains a great showcase of teamwork, effort, and sportsmanship, with plenty more to look forward to in the coming rounds.
