The Brecon Monday 7-a-side Netball League kicked off its new season under the floodlights yesterday evening, with teams in the Premier League division showing an impressive display of skill and competitive spirit.

Entering the highly anticipated week 1 of the season, the Premier League division saw a nail-biting match between the Dragons and Aberhonddu Ladies A, with neither team giving an inch. Both teams showcased their knack for teamwork and precision, ending the game with a deadlock score of 24-24.

Aberhonddu Ladies B, meanwhile, set the tempo for the season with a resounding victory over Panthers, taking the game with an impressive 25-14 scoreline. With this triumphant start, Aberhonddu Ladies B has certainly given the other teams a performance to take note of.

The Bluebirds secured a hard-fought victory against KOALAS, finishing at 25-20. This close encounter saw both sides showcasing their defensive and offensive capabilities, with Bluebirds ultimately edging out their rivals.
