A Great Start to the New Season in the Brecon Monday You Play Netball League

The new season got underway at Christ College Brecon with a fantastic evening of social netball. It was wonderful to welcome players back to the court, with plenty of smiles, familiar faces and a great atmosphere throughout the evening.

Net It Together and Aberhonddu Ladies A got the season started, with Aberhonddu Ladies A finishing with 17 goals. Both teams enjoyed getting back out on court and kicking off the new season together.

Beacons and A Little Rusty were up next, with Beacons finishing with an 11-9 scoreline in a closely contested game. It was another enjoyable match and a great way to continue the evening.

The final game saw Bluebirds and KOALAS take to the court, with Bluebirds finishing with a 14-12 scoreline. It was a brilliant way to round off the first week of fixtures.

A special congratulations goes to Olivia Mills from Aberhonddu Ladies B, who was named Player of the Week. Olivia's enthusiasm and movement around the court made her a deserving recipient of the award, with her positive contribution appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

With Week 2 just around the corner, we're looking forward to another evening of fun, fitness and friendship. Whether you're returning to netball after some time away or trying it for the first time, there's always a warm welcome waiting at the Brecon Monday league.
