Brecon Monday Night Netball - Week 14

In an adrenaline-pumping showdown last night, the 14th and final week of the Brecon Monday Night Netball League brought about some unexpected results and crowned the overall winner for the division.

In the Division, A Little Rusty showed their mettle against Bluebirds, in a fiercely fought match that ended with a narrow win for A Little Rusty, 23-20. The game was a thrilling spectacle of skill, strategy, and sheer persistence, with both teams leaving everything on the court.

Aberhonddu Ladies B exhibited a similar tenacity as they edged past Beacons with a score of 18-16. It was a nerve-wracking match that had players on the edge of their seats until the final whistle blew.

However, the night wasn't without its surprises. Panthers played the Aberhonddu Ladies A, with a strong performance that resulted in a 17-12 victory. 

Meanwhile, KOALAS ensured a strong end to their season with a decisive 17-6 win over Dragons. They maintained a solid lead throughout the game, demonstrating their prowess and determination.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the crowning of Aberhonddu Ladies B as the division winners. With a fantastic total of 24 points and an impressive 12 wins, their consistent performance and teamwork throughout the season have paid off.

These final league games served as a fitting end to a thrilling season of the Brecon Monday Night Netball League, proving once again why this league remains an essential fixture in the local sports calendar.
