Play in the Walsall Monday Netball league powered by You Play Netball

(1) It was a delightful evening this past Monday at Cheslyn Hay Leisure Centre as Week 1 of the Social Netball season took off on a high note. Players of all experience levels greeted the brand new season with a spirit of camaraderie and enthusiasm, basking in the glow of the friendly competition and a shared love for the game.

(2) The Premier League kicked off with a series of captivating matches. The Cheslyn Chicas and No Regrets Just Nets engaged in a friendly contest that ended in a 17-13 scoreline. Both teams exhibited remarkable teamwork and sportsmanship, reveling in the positive energy on the court. The Net Chicks and Court Red Handed followed suit with an engaging match that saw Court Red Handed finish with a score of 17 to Net Chicks' 13. Despite the score, it was clear everybody was a winner, especially with the commitment and enjoyment on display. Cheslyn Shooters and Shooting Stars played an amicable match that had the audience on their toes as Cheslyn Shooters ended with 12 to Shooting Stars' 11. Lastly, the Netballerz and Bibs And Balls played a vibrant game and finished with the Netballerz scoring 24 to Bibs And Balls' 3. It was indeed a night of great spirit and camaraderie.

(3) A special mention must go to the Most Valued Player of the week, Chelsea Arnold from Bibs And Balls. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and her nimble movement around the court was truly impressive. Her positive contribution didn't go unnoticed, earning appreciation from her team members and opponents alike.

(4) As we look forward to Week 2, we can’t wait to spend another evening of friendly social netball. It's all about keeping active, meeting new people, and developing netball skills in a supportive environment. The new social netball season has just started, and we welcome players getting back into netball. So here's to another week of fun, fitness, friendship, and a healthy dose of friendly competition on the court!
