As the sun set on Cheslyn Hay Leisure Centre, a buzz of anticipation filled the air for Week 14 of the social netball season. Players of all experience levels gathered, eager to enjoy another night of camaraderie and healthy competition. The welcoming atmosphere brimmed with laughter and friendly banter, setting the stage for an incredible evening of social netball.

The first match of the evening saw Bibs And Balls paired up against Net Chicks. The former ended the game with a score of 7, while the latter finished with a commendable 13. The match was filled with displays of excellent teamwork and mutual respect, and was marked by an abundance of positive energy from both sides.

Next up, Netballerz and Court Red Handed took to the court. Netballerz scored an impressive 21, while Court Red Handed worked equally hard to end the game with a score of 9. The commitment and sportsmanship shown by both teams were commendable, making it an enjoyable match played in great spirit.

No Regrets Just Nets and Cheslyn Shooters played an equally spirited game, with the final score being 5 for No Regrets Just Nets and a solid 20 for Cheslyn Shooters. The game was a true testament to the power of strong teamwork and good sportsmanship.

In the fourth match of the evening, Shooting Stars and Cheslyn Chicas created a spectacle with a close game, finishing with a score of 15 to Shooting Stars and a respectable 12 to Cheslyn Chicas. The game was filled with enthusiasm and positive energy, reflecting the true spirit of social netball.

The evening’s Most Valued Player recognition went to Amber Horton from Shooting Stars. Amber's positive energy and movement around the court were truly inspiring, making a significant contribution to the overall atmosphere of the evening. Her enthusiasm was appreciated by both teammates and opponents alike.

As we prepare for Week 15's evening of friendly social netball, let's look forward to another opportunity to keep active, meet new people and further develop our skills in a supportive and fun environment. Let's also take a moment to appreciate the team spirit and friendly competition that has been prevalent throughout the season. In particular, we'd like to thank everyone for their contribution to this successful season and give a warm mention to the Cheslyn Shooters who have consistently showcased teamwork and sportsmanship.
