Play in the Walsall Monday Netball league powered by You Play Netball

The twelfth week of our friendly social netball at Cheslyn Hay Leisure Centre was once again filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a wonderful display of sportsmanship. The welcoming atmosphere embraced all, from newcomers to seasoned players, who gathered under the evening sky for a memorable night of netball.

Our first match saw Bibs And Balls sharing the court with Netballerz. Displaying an inspiring display of teamwork and positive energy, both teams navigated the court with a spirit of friendly competition. The game concluded with Netsballerz scoring 27 against Bibs And Balls who managed to score 4 goals — a testament to the commitment and enthusiasm each player brought to the game.

The second match featured No Regrets Just Nets up against Net Chicks. The game was a showcase of excellent team coordination and friendly cooperation, with Net Chicks emerging with a score of 24 as opposed to No Regrets Just Nets' respectable 15. Regardless of the score, the energy, smiles and camaraderie on the court made it a winner for all.

Shooting Stars and Court Red Handed then took to the court, displaying an impressive synergy and great spirit. Ending the game, Shooting Stars scored 21 goals with Court Red Handed adding 4 to their tally. It was an enjoyable game played in the true spirit of social netball.

Lastly, Cheslyn Chicas and Cheslyn Shooters created a vibrant atmosphere on the court. The game wrapped up with Cheslyn Shooters scoring a total of 18 goals while Cheslyn Chicas contributed 12 to the scoreboard. The true victory, however, was in the enjoyment and positive energy that emanated from every player.

A special mention must go to our Most Valued Player of the week, Louise Mactaggart from Bibs And Balls. Her movement around the court was a joy to watch, her positive energy infectious. Her contribution to the game was genuinely appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

As we look forward to Week 13, we're eager for another evening of friendly social netball.
