On a delightful evening at Cheslyn Hay Leisure Centre, Week 11 of the social netball season was in full swing. The welcoming atmosphere was electric with players of all experience levels sharing a love for the sport and enjoying a great night of netball.
Our first match of the night saw Cheslyn Shooters engaging in a spirited game with Bibs And Balls. The Shooters came away with a score of 27-4, a testament to their teamwork and dedication. Despite the score difference, both teams displayed commendable sportsmanship, radiating positivity throughout the match.
Engaging in an equally uplifting game, Court Red Handed met the Cheslyn Chicas. Chicas finished the game with a score of 20-7. Even with the score difference, the teams' commitment was undeterred. Their mutual respect and sportsmanship were truly a sight to behold.
In the third match, Net Chicks and Shooting Stars went head to head. The game ended with a close score of 16-13 in favor of Shooting Stars. The passion and energy both teams brought to the court were inspiring and helped create an enjoyable game.
Wrapping up the evening was an energetic matchup between Netballerz and No Regrets Just Nets, concluding with Netballerz scoring 24 to No Regrets Just Nets' 6. The game was a showcase of sportsmanship, positive energy, and a shared love for the sport.
A special mention goes to Kate Willis from Net Chicks, our Most Valued Player of the week. Her enthusiasm, swift movements around the court, and positive contributions were appreciated by all. Her energy was infectious, and she truly embodied the spirit of social netball.
