The Cheslyn Hay Leisure Centre was buzzing with excitement on Monday evening for Week 8 of the social netball season. As the sun set, a warm and welcoming atmosphere filled the Centre as players of all experience levels came together to enjoy a great night of netball.

In the Premier League group, Bibs And Balls played against Shooting Stars. The game ended with Shooting Stars leading at 13-10. It was a match filled with energy, commitment, and camaraderie, inspiring everyone present. The positive spirit echoed around the court as Bibs And Balls demonstrated extraordinary teamwork and sportsmanship, despite trailing behind.

The second game saw Cheslyn Chicas up against No Regrets Just Nets. Cheslyn Chicas finished the game with a score of 23-10. There were smiles all round as this friendly match was played in great spirit. The No Regrets Just Nets team showed their positive energy, keeping the game enjoyable and fun.

An equally enjoyable game was between Cheslyn Shooters and Netballerz. The game ended with Cheslyn Shooters scoring 22 points against 17 for Netballerz. This game was a wonderful example of the commitment to fair play and sportsmanship characteristic of our social netball evenings.

Special acknowledgement must go to the Most Valued Player of the week, Ellie Chapman from the Netballerz. Ellie embodied the spirit of social netball with her enthusiasm for the game, her movement around the court, and her positive contribution which was greatly appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

The last match of the evening saw Court Red Handed playing against Net Chicks, and ended with a score of 24-5 for Net Chicks. While the game ended in favour of Net Chicks, both teams displayed excellent teamwork and a love for the game that was palpable to all spectators.

As we look ahead to Week 9, we can't wait for another enjoyable evening of friendly social netball. We're excited to see players keeping active, meeting new people, and developing their netball skills in a supportive environment. So, let's get ready to embrace the fun and friendship that comes with social netball at Cheslyn Hay Leisure Centre next week!
