Great Energy and Close Games in Week 8 in Walsall
Week 8 of the Walsall Monday Netball League brought another brilliant evening of netball, full of energy, teamwork, and competitive spirit across all the matches.
Shooting Stars put in a standout performance, showing great movement and teamwork throughout the game. Their sharp attacking play and strong communication helped them control the match and make a big impact on the night.
Cheslyn Shooters and Netballerz played out one of the closest games of the evening. Both teams worked tirelessly from start to finish, creating an exciting and evenly matched contest that kept everyone engaged.
Net Chicks also impressed with a confident and well-organised performance. Their teamwork and smart play across the court really stood out, helping them secure a strong result.
A special mention goes to Kate Willis from Net Chicks, who was named Player of the Week. Her excellent shooting and all-round contribution made a real difference and helped drive her team forward.
Overall, it was another fantastic week with plenty of positive play, great effort, and enjoyable matches. The season continues to build nicely, and there’s lots to look forward to in the coming weeks!
