The Walsall Monday Netball League, powered by You Play Netball, delivered another fantastic evening of action in Week 13, with teams putting in some brilliant performances and showing great team spirit across the court.
Bibs And Balls and Shooting Stars played out one of the closest games of the night, with Bibs And Balls edging a thrilling contest 17-15. Both teams battled from start to finish, producing an exciting game that kept everyone watching on the edge of their seats.
Sweaty Betty’s signed off in style in what was their final game with the league, securing a fantastic 30-16 win over Netballerz. The team have been a valued part of the league, always bringing energy, positivity and great competitiveness to Monday nights. It was wonderful to see them finish on such a high, and everyone at You Play Netball wishes the team all the very best for the future — they’ll certainly be missed!
Net Chicks also impressed with a strong 16-8 victory over Cheslyn Chicas, while Cheslyn Shooters produced a dominant display against Court Red Handed, earning a convincing 33-2 win.
A special mention goes to Jessica Davis of Shooting Stars, who was deservedly named Player of the Week after another outstanding performance. Her effort, teamwork and determination really stood out on the night.
As the season heads towards its conclusion, the standard of netball and the support between teams continues to make Monday nights such a great atmosphere. With only a few weeks remaining, there’s still plenty to play for and we’re looking forward to more exciting matches ahead!
