A Great End to the Season in the Walsall Monday Netball League

The Walsall Monday Netball League, powered by You Play Netball, wrapped up its final round of the season with a really enjoyable evening of netball. It was a lovely way to finish the season, with teams giving it their all and plenty of support from the sidelines.

One of the closest matches of the night saw Netballerz edge past Cheslyn Shooters in a tight 19–17 game. Both teams played brilliantly, and a special mention goes to Helen Smith from Cheslyn Shooters, who was named Player of the Week after a standout performance.

Elsewhere, Bibs and Balls picked up a 15–6 win against Court Red Handed, showing great teamwork and communication throughout the match. Shooting Stars also had a strong finish to the season, securing an 18–6 victory over Net Chicks in an energetic and well-fought game.

Sweaty Betty’s rounded off the night with a 16–10 win against Cheslyn Chicas, capping off an excellent season. With consistent performances week after week, they finished top of the table and should be very proud of their achievement.

As the final whistle blew, it was clear how much everyone had enjoyed the season. From close matches to great teamwork and plenty of smiles on court, it’s been a fantastic few weeks of netball. We can’t wait to see everyone back for the next season.
