Charlbury Wednesday Week 2!

Participate in the Charlbury Wednesday Social Netball League

Following a fantastic start to the league on Wednesday Night, we unfortunately encountered an injury in the first game between Ball Saints and Charlbury Shooters, leading to the cancellation of the last two games. It was unanimously agreed that this was the appropriate response considering the gravity of the situation. We are relieved to report this morning that the injured player is now safe and recuperating at home. We extend our best wishes for her swift recovery and express our gratitude to everyone who provided assistance during the incident.

The Charlbury Shooters, under the outstanding leadership of Sally Street, clinched a victory over the Ball Saints, concluding the match with a score of 4 - 2. Street's remarkable performance earned her the title of Most Valued Player of the week.

In the second match, the Wildcats went head-to-head with the Sky Shooters, demonstrating impressive teamwork and concluding with a score of 5 - 13 in their favour. This win propelled the Wildcats to the top of the leader board, promising an exciting continuation of the season.

The Charlbury Wednesday league continues to uphold its reputation for thrilling netball action. We eagerly anticipate the upcoming week's games.
