Neath Tuesday Youplay Netball League news 2025-12-02

In a thrilling display of athleticism and skill, the Neath Tuesday 7-a-side Netball league moved into its sixth week and proved once again why it is one of the most enthralling sports events in the region.

In Division 1, Block It Like It's Hot took on Spice Goals in a gripping match. Despite an exceptional display of teamwork and tenacity, Block It Like It's Hot fell short of a win with the Spice Goals edging them out 12-7. The Socket Shifters and The Queen Bees engaged in a nail-biting face-off which saw The Queen Bees clinch a victory with a score of 18-17. Glynneath Gal-Zelles and The Vixens battled it out with The Vixens emerging victorious with a 15-11 win, setting the league alight with their performance.

Division 2 saw a flurry of equally riveting games. High Hoops and Glynneath Gazelles faced off in a tense game, with High Hoops securing a victory by a narrow margin, 11-8. Hoops I Did It Again and Steel Town Shooters clashed in a game that saw the Shooters come away with a 14-11 victory. The Pulse Chasers displayed their prowess in an 18-8 victory over Sweaty Betty's, sending ripples across the league.

The week's most valued player was Jennie Smith from Pulse Chasers, who led her team to a decisive victory. Her performance stood out amongst the rest and her contribution to the team's success was undeniable.

The top scorers for the week were The Queen Bees for Division 1 with 18 goals, and Pulse Chasers leading the pack in Division 2 with an impressive 18 goals as well. This week's matches have certainly intensified the competition, and we're excited to see how the rest of the season unfolds.
