In an exhilarating Week 3 of the Neath Tuesday 7-a-side Netball League, Division 1 and 2 showcased nail-biting clashes and a level of competition that had spectators on edge.
In Division 1, the Queen Bees emerged victorious against Glynneath Gal-Zelles in a thrilling 18-15 showdown. Spice Goals, meanwhile, secured a hard-fought 13-8 win over The Vixens. However, the most shocking result of the evening was the astounding victory of Socket Shifters, who dominated Block It Like It's Hot with an impressive 25-7 scoreline.
On to Division 2, where the Steel Town Shooters made their mark with a crushing 23-2 victory over Pulse Chasers. A gripping contest ensued between Glynneath Gazelles and Sweaty Betty’s, which ended in a 14-14 draw, keeping fans in suspense until the final whistle. Finally, Hoops I Did It Again overcame High Hoops 10-6, demonstrating the competitive spirit of the league.
The most valued player of the week accolade was deservedly bestowed on Keira Thomas from Hoops I Did It Again. Thomas displayed an exceptional performance that was instrumental in her team's pivotal victory.
As for the top scorers, in Division 1, Socket Shifters outshone their rivals, while in Division 2, Steel Town Shooters took the honors, both teams setting high standards for the rest of the season.
