In a thrilling final week of the Neath Tuesday Netball Premier League, The Vixens emerged victorious to claim the league title, having amassed a staggering 28 points and secured 14 wins throughout the season.
The Vixens put on a dazzling exhibition of netball in their match against High Hoops, outplaying them in every department and securing a resounding 20-5 victory. Their star player, Daniela Wickham, stole the show once again and was awarded the Most Valued Player title for the week. Wickham's exceptional performances week in and week out have been instrumental to the success of The Vixens this season.
Meanwhile, in a nerve-racking clash, the Spice Goals narrowly edged out the Pitch Stars 9-8, showcasing their resilience and determination in their final game of the season. In another nail-biter, Steel Town Shooters managed to eke out a 4-3 victory over Sweaty Betty's to round off their season on a high note.
Despite the valiant efforts of the other teams, The Vixens' dominance was clear. Their stellar performances, coupled with their consistency and team chemistry, proved too much for their opponents.
The Glynneath Gazelles also had reason to celebrate, marking a resounding 16-3 victory over Hoops I Did It Again.
As we bid farewell to this season of the Premier League, we look forward to the next, where teams will have a fresh opportunity to rewrite the script and challenge The Vixens' reign.
