All the latest news from your local Social Netball league at Cefn Saeson Comprehensive School.
Week four of the Neath Tuesday Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of netball, with plenty of teamwork, encouragement and positive energy across both divisions.
In Division 1, Queen Bees and High Hoops shared a lively game, finishing 15–11, with some lovely passages of play and great communication throughout. Nets Get Physical faced Spice Goals in a well-worked match, ending 10–1, while Socket Shifters and Glynneath Gal-Zelles played out an energetic contest, finishing 20–8. It was fantastic to see all teams working hard and supporting one another on and off the court.
Over in Division 2, Pulse Chasers and Block It Like It’s Hot played one of the closest games of the night, with Pulse Chasers just edging it 8–7. Hoops I Did It Again enjoyed a strong second half against Sweaty Betty’s, finishing 16–10, and Steel Town Shooters and Glynneath Gazelles rounded off the evening with a competitive but friendly 13–11 result.
A special mention goes to Chelsie Powney from Queen Bees, who was named Most Valued Player this week. Her movement, accuracy and encouragement of her teammates really stood out.
As always, it’s great to see so much enthusiasm and sportsmanship across the league. A quick reminder to all teams that any subs brought in must not be league or divisional league players, to ensure the league remains fair and enjoyable for everyone.
