All the latest from your local social netball league at Cefn Saeson Comprehensive School, where Week 9 brought another enjoyable evening of netball, teamwork, and plenty of positive moments on court.
In Division 1, Glynneath Gal-Zelles and High Hoops played out a closely contested match, with Glynneath Gal-Zelles just edging it 14–12. It was a great game with both teams showing fantastic effort right to the final whistle.
Socket Shifters had a strong game against Nets Get Physical, coming away with a 27–9 win. Their teamwork and movement around the court really stood out.
Queen Bees also enjoyed a good match against Spice Goals, securing a 12–9 win in a well-balanced and entertaining game.
In Division 2, Pulse Chasers had a positive game against Glynneath Gazelles, winning 12–7, while Hoops I Did It Again put in a great performance to win 20–13 against Steel Town Shooters.
Sweaty Betty’s rounded off the evening with a 14–10 win over Block It Like It’s Hot, with both teams showing great determination and support for one another.
A special mention goes to this week’s most valuable player, Caitey Diiulio from Socket Shifters. Her all-round performance, energy, and encouragement on court made a real difference for her team.
Overall, it was another fantastic evening that highlighted the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the league. It’s great to see everyone enjoying their netball and supporting each other each week.
