Week 8 Round-Up – Neath Tuesday Netball League

It was another great evening of netball in Neath, with teams returning to the court for week 8 of the Tuesday league. The atmosphere was full of energy, encouragement and great teamwork across all matches.

Socket Shifters and Spice Goals shared an enjoyable game, with Socket Shifters putting together some strong passages of play to finish 24–1. Both teams showed great effort and kept the game flowing throughout.

Nets Get Physical had a good game against High Hoops, finishing 12–6. It was great to see plenty of teamwork and communication on display from both sides.

Glynneath Gal-Zelles and The Queen Bees played out a really close and entertaining match, with The Queen Bees just edging the result 16–13. It was a fantastic contest with both teams showing great determination.

Elsewhere, Hoops I Did It Again had a strong game against Block It Like It’s Hot, finishing 19–8. There were some lovely passages of play and great energy on court.

Sweaty Betty’s and Glynneath Gazelles also shared a closely fought game, with Sweaty Betty’s finishing 16–13 after a great team performance.

Pulse Chasers rounded off the evening with a positive game against Steel Town Shooters, finishing 19–7. Both teams brought plenty of effort and enthusiasm to the court.

This week’s Most Valued Player goes to Lisa Clement-Jones from Hoops I Did It Again, who delivered a fantastic performance. Her effort and impact on the game really stood out and earned her well-deserved recognition.

With just a couple of weeks left in the season, it’s great to see everyone continuing to enjoy their netball and support each other each week. We’re looking forward to finishing the season with more fun, friendly games.
