Neath Tuesday Netball Update - Week 6

Week 6 of the Neath Tuesday Social Netball League brought another fun and energetic evening of netball, with great teamwork, encouragement and plenty of positive moments on court.

High Hoops had a strong game against Spice Goals, linking up well across the court to secure a 17–2 result. Both teams showed great effort and support for one another throughout the match.

Glynneath Gal-Zelles and Nets Get Physical shared a closely played and entertaining contest, with Nets Get Physical just finishing ahead 11–10. It was a fantastic game to watch, with both teams working hard from start to finish.

Socket Shifters also enjoyed a positive outing against The Queen Bees, combining solid defence with confident shooting to finish 17–12 in a match played in great spirit.

Elsewhere, Hoops I Did It Again and Glynneath Gazelles played out another closely matched game, with Hoops I Did It Again just edging ahead 12–10 after some great teamwork from both sides.

Block It Like It’s Hot worked well together during their match against Steel Town Shooters, securing a 17–9 result, while Pulse Chasers had a positive performance against Sweaty Betty’s, finishing 17–12 after some lovely passages of play.

A special mention goes to Daniela Wickham from Nets Get Physical, who was named Player of the Week. Her movement, teamwork and positive attitude on court made a real impact and helped make the evening even more enjoyable.

It’s fantastic to see players continuing to build confidence, develop their skills and enjoy the social side of the league each week. The supportive and welcoming atmosphere makes Tuesday evenings a great place to be.
