Neath Tuesday Netball Update - Week 5

Week five of the Neath Tuesday Netball League brought another fantastic evening of netball, with teams enjoying some great games.

Glynneath Gal-Zelles had a strong game against High Hoops, coming away with an 18–6 win after some excellent teamwork and movement around the court. The Queen Bees also put in a confident performance against Spice Goals, finishing 20–10 in a lively and well-played match. Socket Shifters enjoyed a good run against Nets Get Physical, securing a 27–8 result thanks to some sharp passing and great communication throughout.

Elsewhere, Glynneath Gazelles and Pulse Chasers shared the points in an evenly matched 11–11 draw, with both teams showing real determination from start to finish. Hoops I Did It Again had a solid game against Steel Town Shooters, winning 13–8, while Block It Like It’s Hot played well in their 20–10 match against Sweaty Betty’s.

A special shoutout goes to Sophie Rothero from Pulse Chasers, who was named Player of the Week. Sophie’s energy, awareness and encouragement of her teammates really stood out and made a big difference on court.

It’s been brilliant to see the positive atmosphere continue to grow each week, with teams supporting one another and enjoying their netball. We’re looking forward to more fun and friendly matches as the season continues.
