It was a brilliant way to wrap up the Neath Tuesday Netball season, with a fun and lively final week that brought everyone together for some great games and plenty of support on and off the court.
High Hoops and The Queen Bees kicked things off, with The Queen Bees having a strong game and coming away with a 24–9 result. Nets Get Physical and Spice Goals followed with an enjoyable match, finishing 14–9, while Socket Shifters and Glynneath Gal-Zelles rounded off the evening with plenty of energy and great teamwork throughout.
There were also some fantastic games across the rest of the league. Block It Like It’s Hot and Pulse Chasers shared a great match, ending 20–11, while Hoops I Did It Again and Sweaty Betty’s played out a lively game, finishing 23–16. Glynneath Gazelles and Steel Town Shooters also gave it their all, with lots of positive play and encouragement across the court.
A special shoutout goes to Aimee Tossell from Nets Get Physical, who had a fantastic week and was named Player of the Week for her all-round performance and contribution to her team.
As the season comes to an end, it’s been amazing to see how everyone has grown in confidence, teamwork, and spirit. A big congratulations to Socket Shifters and Hoops I Did It Again for finishing at the top this season — a great achievement and well deserved! Well done as well to The Queen Bees and Pulse Chasers for securing the runners-up spots — a fantastic effort from both teams throughout the season.
A special mention also goes to Chelsie from The Queen Bees, who was named Player of the Season — a brilliant achievement and thoroughly deserved!
Most importantly, this season has been all about enjoying the game, staying active, and being part of a supportive and welcoming community. It’s been great to see so many smiles each week!
We’re already looking forward to the next season and can’t wait to welcome everyone back — along with any new faces who’d like to get involved.
