It was a great evening of netball in Neath on Tuesday as the new season got underway, with plenty of teamwork, encouragement, and positive energy across both divisions. It was lovely to see everyone back on court and enjoying their games.

In Division 1, Nets Get Physical and Glynneath Gal-Zelles played out a close and well-matched game, with Nets Get Physical taking the win 13–11. The Queen Bees had a strong game against Socket Shifters, finishing 26–18, with some great teamwork on display. Hoops I Did It Again and Pulse Chasers also shared a tight match, with Pulse Chasers just edging it 12–10 in a game that could have gone either way.

Division 2 saw some great performances as well. Spice Goals had a good game against Sweaty Betty’s, finishing 16–6, while Block It Like It’s Hot showed great teamwork in their 17–7 match against Steel Town Shooters. High Hoops also had a strong start to the season, winning 21–5 against Glynneath Gazelles.

A special mention goes to this week’s most valuable player, Tamara Langdon from The Queen Bees, whose energy and all-round performance made a real impact on the night.

With the first round of games complete, it’s been a really positive start to the season. It’s great to see such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with everyone supporting each other and enjoying their netball.
