All the Latest News from Your Local Social Netball League at Cefn Saeson Comprehensive School

The Neath Tuesday Social Netball League got off to a great start this week, with teams from both Division 1 and Division 2 enjoying their first games of the new season. It was lovely to see players back on court, catching up with familiar faces and welcoming new teams into the league.

In Division 1, Nets Get Physical and Glynneath Gal-Zelles shared an enjoyable and well-matched game, with Glynneath Gal-Zelles finishing 20–17. Queen Bees put in a strong team performance against Socket Shifters, ending the game 10–6, while High Hoops and Spice Goals treated everyone to a lively match, with High Hoops finishing 21–11.

Division 2 also saw some great netball played throughout the evening. Sweaty Betty’s and Pulse Chasers enjoyed a close and energetic game, with Sweaty Betty’s finishing 14–11. Block It Like It’s Hot and Steel Town Shooters played out a closely matched fixture, ending 13–12, while Glynneath Gazelles and Hoops I Did It Again rounded off the night with a positive game, finishing 20–14.

A special mention goes to Jodie Williams from Queen Bees, who was named Player of the Week. Her positive play, effort, and support for her teammates really stood out and made a big impact in her team’s game.

With the season only just underway, it’s great to see such enthusiasm, teamwork, and friendly spirit across both divisions. We’re looking forward to another enjoyable week of social netball and can’t wait to see everyone back on court.
