In a thrilling week of premier netball action, the Neath Tuesday 7 a side Netball League concluded with The Queen Bees and Socket Shifters clinching top honors in Division 1 and Division 2 respectively in the final week of the season.
In Division 1, The Queen Bees reigned supreme with a stunning 32-3 victory over High Hoops, thus wrapping up the season with a perfect record of 10 wins in 10 games, accumulating an impressive 20 points overall. Meanwhile, Spice Goals out whipped Block It Like It's Hot with a 17-8 victory. However, the highlight of the Division 1 was The Vixens' Daniela Wickham. She was named the most valued player of the week, standing out with her exceptional performances throughout the season.
In Division 2, Socket Shifters, showcasing their mettle and skills on the court, emerged victorious with a closing win of 11-8 over Glynneath Gazelles B. Their exemplary performance this season, with a total of 10 wins and 20 points, landed them as the division champions. Court In The Act showed their decisive court action with a 12-4 win over Steel Town Shooters while Sweaty Betty's triumphed over Hoops I Did It Again with a score of 14-6.
This season of the Neath Tuesday Netball League was indeed filled with high-voltage action, adrenaline-rushing games and spectacular individual performances.
