Neath Sunday Netball Update - Week 14

All the latest news from your local Social Netball League, straight from Cefn Saeson Comprehensive School.

The Neath Sunday Netball League wrapped up in exciting style, with The Iron Ladies being crowned Division 1 champions after a fantastic final match of the season. In a great showcase of netball, The Iron Ladies and Game Of Throws went head-to-head, with The Iron Ladies finishing the night with a 17–9 win after an entertaining and high-energy game.

This result marked The Iron Ladies’ 12th victory of the season, bringing their points total to an impressive 24. Their consistency, teamwork, and commitment over the 14-week season have been clear to see and fully deserving of their championship title.

Player of the Week honours went to Amy Campbell of The Iron Ladies, who was recognised for her outstanding performance and influence on the court. Her skill, work rate, and positive attitude have played a huge part in the team’s success, and she was deservedly named the league’s Most Valued Player. Amy’s performances throughout the season have been a real highlight for players and spectators alike.

Elsewhere in Division 1, Hoops I Did It Again enjoyed a strong performance against DN Rangers, finishing with a 14–5 win in another lively and enjoyable match. The evening’s games reflected the friendly yet competitive spirit that makes the Neath Sunday Netball League so special.

As the season comes to a close, the league can look back on weeks of exciting matches, great sportsmanship, and plenty of memorable moments. Congratulations to The Iron Ladies on their Division 1 title, and well done to all teams for their dedication and enthusiasm throughout the season and to Hoops I Did it Again for winning Runners up!
