Cannock Sunday Netball League – Week 2 Round-Up 

Week 2 of the Cannock Sunday You Play Netball League brought plenty of exciting netball, great teamwork, and lots of smiles across the courts. With teams settling into the season, we saw some fantastic performances and strong competition throughout the day.

Ace Of Chase got things off to a great start with an impressive 18–9 win over Cannock Forests. Despite the result, Cannock Forests showed great effort and determination, with Summer Macgregor delivering a standout performance and earning Most Valued Player of the week.

Pocket Rockets followed up with a confident display against Cannock Chasers, securing a convincing 26–3 victory. Their sharp passing and well-organised play made for an enjoyable match to watch.

It was a tough outing for The Dream Team, who were up against a strong Cannock Chaos side. Chaos worked brilliantly as a team and took the win with a 15–1 scoreline.

One of the closest matches of the week saw Chase Chicks edge past Cannock Comets in an exciting 15–12 contest. Both teams battled hard throughout, creating a fast-paced and entertaining game, with Chase Chicks just managing to pull ahead in the final moments.

Week 2 showcased some brilliant netball and a great spirit across all teams. With the season still in its early stages, there’s plenty more action to come and lots to play for.

A big congratulations again to Summer Macgregor from Cannock Forests on being named Most Valued Player – a well-deserved recognition.
