Congratulations to Pivot Panthers, who were crowned this season’s winners of the Leamington league, and to runners-up Pitch Perfect. Both teams have shown great commitment throughout the season and should be proud of their achievements.

A huge well done also goes to Molly Kingham from Goal Diggas, who was named the Most Valued Player of the Season. This recognition reflects the effort, teamwork and positive contribution she has made both on and off the court throughout the season.

Week 14 of the Royal Leamington Spa Thursday You Play Netball League took place at Campion School, with players of all experience levels coming together for another enjoyable evening of social netball. As the season approached its conclusion, teams continued to show commitment and enthusiasm, while maintaining the friendly and supportive atmosphere that is at the heart of the Back to Netball league.

The first match of the evening saw Pass N Pivot take on Goal Diggas. Goal Diggas secured a 17–5 victory after putting in a strong team performance. They worked well together throughout the game and made good use of their opportunities in front of goal. Pass N Pivot continued to work hard and supported one another from start to finish. Despite the final score, the team remained positive and showed good determination throughout the match.

Next, Wingin It faced Pitch Perfect. Both teams worked hard across the court and showed good teamwork during an enjoyable game. Pitch Perfect took the win with a final score of 15–8, following a consistent performance throughout the match. Wingin It continued to battle and created some good opportunities, while Pitch Perfect made the most of their chances to secure the result. Both teams played in good spirits and contributed to another positive fixture.

The final game of the evening was between Net Pressure and Pivot Panthers. This was a closely contested match, with both teams working hard throughout and keeping the score competitive. Pivot Panthers eventually secured a 14–11 victory, but Net Pressure pushed them all the way and should be pleased with their efforts. Both teams showed good teamwork and determination, making it an enjoyable game to watch.

A special mention goes to Pivot Panthers, who have shown great commitment and consistency throughout the season. Their teamwork, communication and support for one another have helped them achieve some strong results and secure the league title. The team should be very proud of their season and the effort they have put in each week.

Congratulations also go to Pitch Perfect on finishing the season as runners-up. Their performances throughout the season have earned them a well-deserved place near the top of the league. The team have continued to work hard and support one another, contributing to another successful season.

As this season comes to a close, thank you to every team and player who has taken part. The league continues to provide a welcoming environment where players can keep active, develop their netball skills, meet new people and enjoy friendly competition. It has been great to see teams supporting one another and embracing the social spirit of Back to Netball.

Thank you as well to the umpires and everyone involved in helping the league run each week. Their time and commitment are appreciated and help ensure that players can continue to enjoy their games in a positive and organised environment.

Well done to all the teams for their commitment and participation throughout the season.
