Pivot Panthers produced a confident display against Goal Diggas, taking a well-earned 21–7 win. They worked smoothly as a team throughout and kept the pressure on from start to finish, while Goal Diggas continued to compete and showed good spirit.
Net Pressure also picked up a positive result, overcoming Pitch Perfect 17–7. Their defensive work stayed consistent across the match and made it difficult for Pitch Perfect to build momentum, despite plenty of effort.
In the closest contest of the night, Nets Go Girl came out on top against Pass N Pivot with a 19–11 win. Both sides played with real determination, with Nets Go Girl finding the extra edge in key moments.
Collette Daly (Pass N Pivot) was named Most Valued Player after an excellent individual performance, standing out with her movement, timing and shooting.
With Week 5 coming up, the league is beginning to take shape, and it will be interesting to see whether Pivot Panthers can continue their strong start.
