Netball Action Continues in Week 5 of the Royal Leamington Spa Thursday League
Week 5 of the Royal Leamington Spa Thursday Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of play, with teams showcasing their enthusiasm, teamwork, and growing confidence on court under the floodlights.
The Nutballs got off to a strong start with a 27–4 win over Goal Diggas. While the result didn’t go their way, Goal Diggas showed plenty of determination and moments of promise that will no doubt serve them well in the coming weeks.
Nets Go Girl followed with an assured 23–3 victory against Wingin It. Nets Go Girl worked well as a unit throughout the match, combining effective movement and solid defence. Wingin It kept battling and will be looking to build on the experience gained from this fixture.
Net Pressure also enjoyed a positive outing, securing a 14–4 win over Pass N Pivot. Pass N Pivot started brightly, but Net Pressure gradually found their rhythm and maintained control as the game progressed.
Pivot Panthers rounded off the evening with a convincing 17–6 win against Pitch Perfect, demonstrating good consistency across the court.
Despite the result, Pitch Perfect’s Parv Bains stood out with an impressive individual performance. Their composure, effort, and skill were recognised with the Most Valued Player of the Week award, providing a real highlight and encouragement for their team moving forward.
The Royal Leamington Spa Thursday League continues to offer competitive yet friendly netball each week, with teams developing together as the season unfolds. With more fixtures still to come, there’s plenty to look forward to in the weeks ahead.
