Play in the Royal Leamington Spa Thursday netball league
There was plenty of enjoyable and competitive action on display in week 13 of the Royal Leamington Spa Thursday netball league. The League saw a series of well-contested matches, with teams continuing to build momentum as the season progresses. Players showed great effort, teamwork, and improvement across the board, making for an entertaining evening of netball.
One of the standout fixtures of the night saw Goal Diggas take on Net Pressure in a closely fought contest. Both teams demonstrated excellent movement, awareness, and determination throughout the match. In the end, Goal Diggas managed to edge ahead with a 19–16 win, thanks to some composed shooting and organised defending. Net Pressure also put in a strong performance and can take plenty of positives from such a competitive game.
Pivot Panthers delivered a confident and well-rounded performance against Nets Go Girl, securing a 28–13 victory. Their attacking play was particularly effective, with consistent passing and accurate finishing helping them build a steady lead. Defensively, they remained organised and disciplined, which allowed them to maintain control of the game. Nets Go Girl showed good spirit and continued to work hard throughout, with moments of promise to build on in future fixtures.
Another exciting match saw Nutballs face Pitch Perfect in what proved to be a lively and engaging contest. Nutballs came away with a 22–14 win after a strong team performance. Their shooting accuracy and ability to link up play across the court made a real difference, while Pitch Perfect kept competing and showed resilience, creating opportunities and maintaining a positive approach throughout the game.
Pass N Pivot also enjoyed a strong outing, recording a 21–5 win over Wingin It. Their performance was built on effective communication, sharp passing, and consistent shooting. Wingin It continued to battle and showed determination despite the result, and will no doubt look to take valuable lessons into the next round of matches.
Overall, week 13 brought another round of encouraging performances, with all teams contributing to a positive and competitive atmosphere.
